FINDING DIGNITY IN THIS LOWLY WORK, BEAT THE ODD, HEADS UP

Hello net maniacs! I want to convey my boundless gratitude to a special someone who gave me this website, for the patience in fuelling my interest in making this a reality. Added to the usual job (proudly: kuskos kubeta) with which I came here for, writing is extremely both physically and mentally taxing activity. Nevertheless, it is the right moment for me to do it anyway.

“It takes talent to write,� my mentor, Tony Ajero, said one day. I mum for few minutes searching for words to add to it. Years later, I realized that writing, like all other talents, will just go for naught should interest is nowhere.

Interest, indeed, plays a vital role for anything to commence. I used to say that writing is my sun in the rain, the hankie for unwanted tears, the sole of my sneakers, or simply, my shock absorber. Importantly, it has been my self-defence, the tool I use when I desperately wanting to be heard as exactly the way that I want to be understood well. Tact has prompted me to put my tongue on hold when nasty word I so needed to say, I prefer sealing my lips for awhile, then scribble it down in a sharper and constructive fashion, aiming to win interest and draw attention for better understanding in the end.

Bless the day when I discovered I could write, even more when I took interest into it. Somehow, as I begin with this new task at hand, I want to say, God bless to all the Pinays and Pinoys who are everywhere other than Philippines, away from families digging dirt for few pounds worth. As I experience the same, I just can not fail my burning interest to write about it all.
